Mission Statement
At the nonprofit Crafting Hearts, our mission is to brighten the lives of all who might need some light within their lives. Crafting Hearts visit various institutions such as nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and senior communities. There we hold events where people are able to create crafts. We achieve this through the transformative power of creative expression and bring engaging craft activities directly to those in need.
Our Story
It all started with a simple observation. While volunteering as a pianist at a senior residence center, Mila Paljusaj noticed something beyond the smiles brought by music. The residents yearned for deeper connection, a way to express themselves and find joy in the present moment. This insight sparked an idea in Mila, and she shared it with her talented friend, Sienna Perez, an animator and artist with a passion for bringing smiles to faces.
Together, they envisioned a world where creativity could be a bridge, connecting people and bringing happiness to those who needed it most. And so, Crafting Hearts was born. Our mission is simple yet profound: to brighten lives and foster joy through the power of crafting.
